Area Rug Cleaning Service FAQ's

Horse blankets should be washed at least once per season, typically in the spring and fall. Blankets that are heavily soiled, used daily, or exposed to urine may require more frequent cleaning to prevent odor buildup and skin irritation.
Standard detergents often strip waterproof coatings. Our process uses waterproof-safe detergents and includes professional re-proofing, which restores water resistance while maintaining breathability.
Yes. Dirty blankets can trap sweat, bacteria, hair, and residue that may lead to rubs, sores, hair loss, and skin irritation. Professional equine-safe cleaning significantly reduces this risk.

Home washers and household detergents are not designed for horse gear. They can damage machines, strip waterproof coatings, leave irritating residue, and shorten the life of expensive blankets and saddle pads.

Our standard turnaround time is 10 days from when we receive your rug. For drop-off orders, you will receive a text when your rug is ready for pickup. For delivery orders, you will receive regular text updates as to the pickup and delivery status of your order.

For an additional fee of $25, our drop-off orders can upgrade their rug to a Rapid Turnaround Order with a 5-day turnaround guarantee (drop-off only and subject to availability).

Our cleaning process will remove most, if not all, of the usual odors. In fact, it will smell great for days afterwards.
